NRL- Johns, Lockyer and Barret all earn over $500000 a year. The best player in each team would get this aswell.

Unofficially Andrew Johns gets a fair bit more than a million. When he was thinking of switching to union Kerry Packer and his channel 9 company gave whatever money it took to keep him in the game also a job at the network for at least 10 yrs after he retires.But most top line NRL players earn between 350000 and 450000 with most players earning about 180000 to 250000. Most 1st and 2nd year players earn a lot less, some as low as 10000.
