  1. the waiter

In CA, waiters aren't paid $2 an hour (like the East Coast).  They get between 6-11 an hour plus tips, depending on what part of CA they live in.  ($11 being the ultra liberal areas like Berkeley).

I can't believe they get away with paying waiters $2 an hour in 2008.  I was paid that when I was a waitress in 1986.

  2. They both get paid next to nothing.

  3. the person who cleans the tables.  They get $5+ and hour plus tips while the waitress get paid $2+ plus tips.  The server at the end of the day should make more but I have seen where bussers make about the same.  The servers must tip out 3% of their total sales and it is divided among the bussers and bar.

  4. well man rite im getting paid five dollars and hour and on a weekend i get almost 35 in tips for one day and during the week im make my regular pay plus maybe 15 a day in tips
