  1. defineitly the players, but the mangers and coaches should be beacause they are the ones that tell thr players what to do, it always is the players

  2. maybe the mangers  because  the  players or  trying    there best

  3. Manager.

    He's normally easily dispensable.

    He's one guy not 1 of 16

When Something Goes Wrong the Manager is the First to Go.

  4. I think people would blame the manager more.

  5. well, the players and the managers take the blame..

  6. I'll blame the players usually because I always get managers, owners, and GMs mixed up. I could care less what the manager does. I've never really see coaching lose a game. Except when the 3rd base coach wrongly sends someone. But that's not the manager. Right?

  7. manger because they choose what to do and the players can not choose what to do

  8. Usually the manager but the players should take a 70-30 split.  The players have to execute on the field.  The manager doesn't strike out, fail to lay down a bunt, boot a grounder, drop fly balls or dog it to first.

He is, however, responsible for the morale of the team, pulling the pitcher ( actually anyone who can count to 100 can do that now). And getting the most out of his players.

  9. Players, the coaches usaully try their best to make their team better

  10. Definitely the manager! It is easier to fire the manager than a player!

  11. The manager always takes the most heat when his team is not performing, and sometimes even loses his job. Often it is not fair, but that seems to just be the way it is.

  12. Probably both evenly. Maybe the manager a little more than the players.

  13. fans blame the Manager i think more so than anyone else..

when things for bad for me i have no blame i'm just frustrated! XP

  14. People seem to blame the manager...to the point of absurdity sometimes.

Example...my Atlanta Braves have had a horrible season this year due to injuries. 20/25 of our opening day roster have missed time to injury this season. People in Atlanta are accustomed to winning after the 14 consecutive division titles   :)   So some people here wanted to fire Bobby Cox. Why that is the case I will never know. We have had two separate moments in the season when we take 3 off the DL, only to put 3 on it at the same time. It took Chipper Jones coming out and publicly defending Bobby Cox before some people were silent.

I believe that most of the blame should be put on the players. If there are serious issues in the clubhouse, then we can bring the manager's name into things...depending on how they are handled and if they continue. However, it's like Uncle Ben says in the first Spiderman movie: "With great power comes great responsibility."  :)   If the team does badly, the manager is the person in power, so most people automatically throw the blame on the manager. I think the players should be held more accountable than they are nowadays.
