I've heard that the NFL lotteries off 500 tickets, but who gets to sell the rest of them? Is the only way through a broker?

  1. im not sure

  2. There are no tickets sold to the general public other than through the lottery, about 500 pairs of tickets. 75% of the tickets are split between the NFL teams. The teams that are going split 35% between them to sell, usually to their season ticket holders. The other teams in the NFL get like 1% to sell, usually to their season ticket holders. The host city team gets about 9%.  The remaining 25% of SuperBowl tickets are controlled by the NFL and are distributed primarily to NFL affiliated companies, the network broadcasting the Super Bowl, corporate sponsors, media, VIPs, charities, fans and the Host Committee to package with sponsorships.
