Who gives best rate on the euro?

live in uk and off to spain in 5 weeks ,

which is the best travelagents/exchange place to get my euros , am changing about £400 so want most for my pound

  1. Try Marks & Spencers and they charge no commission

For the most part, you will probably get about the same anywhere you go...If they don't charge a fee, they don't give you as much in the exchange rate.  They will get you coming and going.  Just don't go to the convenience type places.  The airport, train station, THEY will rip you off!  Go to any bank.  Your own is more likely to waive the exchange fee, without jacking up the rate.

  3. I don't want to be rude, but please accept this advice: If in some way you can arrange it, don't bring cash into Spain - you could be robbed before you even think of changing money. A much wiser idea would be to simply get your daily allowance from an ATM, they can be found anywhere in any town.
