Who goes to culinary school?

what should i expect?

did anyone know how to cook before you got to the school?

I went to Culinary School a few years ago with no experience beforehand. It gives you the basic knowledge you will need, but also SO MUCH more is learned by actually getting a job and gaining experience and working your way up the chain.
