I predict the All Blacks to win the world cup but i also think France given the home ground advantage may also pose a threat. Other teams to watch are Ireland and Australia. Don't write off the Aussies completely as well as the South Africans. The English.........i don't have anything to say bout them becoz they mainly remain on the boot of Wilkinson. The difference between the Northern Hemisphere and The Southern Hemisphere teams is the Northern teams rely on their kicking abilities and the southern teams on their attacking abilities. Overall a southern hemisphere team will win the world or be precise ALL BLACKS

I am hoping for a France / South Africa final, you all seem to be forgetting that the French just beat the Irish on their home turf. Broke a few hearts in the process.

Don't underestimate the French, they have some real quality players.

New Zealand seem to have it all but every world cup they have a bad 40 minutes and get beaten, maybe this is year but I hope not.

The Poms don't have it in them at the moment.

I do think it might favour the southern hemisphere teams as the games will be played in weather that is more favourable to southern hemisphere rugby, warmer conditions, the northern hemisphere is used to playing mud rugby and driving it up the middle.

No doubt New Zealand are the favourites and have shown great form in tri-nations, bledisloe and tour of europe however last time they were this strong we all remember what happened in france (but we need not bring that painful memory back up). My bet is on New Zealand to make the finals against france with either ausi or south africa suffering a suprise tournament ending defeat to the mighty irish who are surising everyone at the moment. however all fingers crossed for the kiwis to be able to get it together and finally come out on top. South Africa is going to win. But I think Ireland, The All Blacks and because Johnny is back, England.

On current form it would have to be The All Blacks with South Africa possibly coming second. That said, if the Irish get their act together in the next few months they will have a real chance. Also France will be there or there abouts.
