Who got The Academy Is... New Cd?

Question

Is it any good? Is it as bad as their single? Does the Cd make it official, that they are a sell out?

Listening to it, I was getting pretty concerned for their well-being, if you will. It doesn't compare to their first album. However, if you do get it, DEFINITELY get two bonus tracks! They are by far the best on the album. And after listening to the album once, I'd say the last song "One More Weekend" is the best (which is how I felt about the last two albums as well, last is always best) but I usually warm up to other songs after listening to them more. Don't know about this one though, it sounds a wee bit too pop for me. But absolutely get the bonus tracks from somewhere, even if you don't get the album! They're called "Every Burden Has A Version" and (my hands-down favorite) "Sodium."

I personally like the new cd. I think that "Almost Here" and "Santi" are way better though. The songs are all kinda similar to "About A Girl". I don't think that thy're sell-outs. Their sound did change, but not in a bad way. The Academy Is... is streaming the album from their myspace if you wanna listen to it before you decide to buy it or not. Hope this helps you =].
