I have been jumping through hoops for CPS for about a year now and they want to keep me in there program. Where do I turn for help. I have evidence that CPS lied in many areas in my report. There is no government office over them that I can find. CPS is the LAW. Where do I turn for help.

  1. CPS is regulated by the courts.

If you do not play their game, you are dead meat

  2. making you jump is a CPS TRICK  !!!

IF you jump through their hoops then they will assume that your guilty !

Stop jumping and stand your ground  !!

You will then end up in front of a Judge.

    that's Not a punishment - that's your right

    you may need a lawyer

  3. In an election year, you can write to your legislators. They are much more likely to respond right now.

  4. Oh wow...That would be a hard one?  I know when we had issues with the child support office we went to the state rep and they helped us out alot.  Maybe this also could be helped by them.

  5. If you were such a good parent, how'd they get involved in your life in the first place?  If you were truly doing what they asked, they would close the case!

  6. Having lies in the report is a far cry from having bad information in the report.  If you really have evidence (FACTS)that false information was intentionally used against you, you have a very civily actionable case.  If that is actually the case (which I doubt), hire an attorney immediately, and file a civil suit.  If your attorney turns over your "evidence" to them during discovery, they will crumble like a stale Oreo, and likely, offer to settle the damages out of court.  You are correct, however, that other than legislative or executive officers (like the Governor), CPS (DSS) is pretty much in charge of itself.  For the record, overzealous CPS employees are common, and often good parents do get the shaft.  But, that's certainly not the majority.

  7. You need to hire a lawyer. It may be expensive, but that is what you will have to do.
