  1. It's quite even, although I'm going to say Wings just because I'm a Ranger's fan!

  2. Pen

flyers were basically an eight see w/ all their injuries...also, they hardly travelled....basically the same time zone...

detroit has to go to dallas, to denver, and to nashville...

  3. Even.

  4. seems even

  5. Pens had it way easier.

The west conference  is way tougher than the east.

  6. RED WINGS they had home ice advantage in the end.  at first it might seem like pittsburgh becouse they swept but they were just too good plus they have sidney crosby and he is totally HOT!!!

  7. The wonderful thing about finishing in the 1 or 2 spot in your conference is the fact that you CAN get an easier schedule.

  8. I think the penguins had it easier.  The western conf has better teams and they have to cross more time lines.  This is an important factor when thinking about the toughness of each series.

  9. In the Playoffs, either even or I'd argue the Red Wings actually had the easier schedule. Let's be fair and accept the Pens had to play TWO DIVISION RIVALS. Teams that know them better then most.

  10. I think BOTH teams benefited from early round upsets. Not only did those upsets take out contenders, they also wore out the team they faced after those upsets. And as you can see, they both benefited from 2nd round upsets also.

    EVEN!

  11. I would say Detroit had it easier,

They got 2 second class teams in Preds and Avs and a worn out Dallas team that were mentally and physically done after beating the Sharks and Ducks.

Pens faced a Ottawa team that lost its way but still a tough team, The rangers a decent team and the Flyers who were stronger than their 6th seed.

Both benefited from avoiding any of the top 4 seeds in each conference.

  12. The teams shouldn't matter, but what matters is distance. The west always travels more in the playoffs.

  13. Both were pretty weak. Flyers... 4-1, Rangers 4-1, Senators 4-0.

We didnt have a 6th game til the SC finals. So I gotta say Pens did.

  14. About the same.

  15. Red Wings in my opinion.

  16. The Red Wings!

  17. The Preds and Sens were both outclassed.

The Stars and Flyers were both on fire driven by goalies who apparently sold their souls for these runs.

The Rangers were playing better than the Avs, so I guess the slight nod goes to the Wings having an easier schedule.  But it was pretty even.

  18. i would like to say then pens did...but they lost in the end so evidence points towards the wings.

  19. seams pretty even.

  20. Wings Hands Down The wing were number one in the nhl and played 8 seed, 6 seed, 5 seed if  the ducks played them they may have one another cup. Pens had it harder

  21. Even...quit looking for excuses one way or the other.
