  1. id say the clippers, if you look at it they did lose brand but they gained marcus camby and baron davis they might have a chance to squeeze into the playoffs

also the 76ers because signin brand automatcally helps em lol

  2. No it is the rockets.....the 76ers and raptors made nice moves but does anyone think they got a chance to come out and win the title?

    No.

The Rockets move buy getting artest just made them NBA champion favorites in many peoples eyes.  Clearly, the best move of the offseason.

  3. Raptors!  They added an all star in Jermaine O'Neal---the only problem is that they're in the same division as the Celtics and as you said, the 76ers got better.

  4. Funny how none of the guys above mentioned the Nets. The Nets drafted Brook Lopez who's going to become a great player, a high scorer and rebounder Ryan Anderson, and a underrated Chris Douglas-Roberts (We stole him in the 2nd round). We also added key players and veterans like Dooling and Najera. We got Yi, a nice 7 footer who can shoot the ball but still needs to improve. The Nets had the best offseason by far. Not to forget that we got rid of an overrated conehead named Richard Jefferson and Nenad Krstic who clearly showed every one of us that he was done. Other than the Nets, I'd say that the Rockets, Raptors, and 76ers did a great job filling in their holes.

  5. Portland

    C- Oden

    PF- Alridge

    SF- Outlaw

    SG- Roy

    PG- Bayless

plus they got batum and webster

  6. The Clippers losing Brand and Maggette hurt, but they did sign Baron Davis while adding Ricky Davis and Marcus Camby.  With Al Thornton and Chris Kaman, they'll be one of the tougher defensive teams around, and Mobley makes a great 6th-7th man.  If the rook Eric Gordon can contribute, I like their chances to add 20 wins to last year's (paltry) total.

Philly adding Elton Brand was Huge.  With Dalembert and Evans, they will be a beast on the glass.  Andre Miller and Iguodala should be enough to get them 10 more wins, but if they want to fight for the Eastern Conference Finals with the big boys (Boston and Orlando), they're going to need to add some shooters to help spread the floor.

The best offseason though, as of right now, has to go to Houston.  Artest is the best perimeter defender in the game.  Tagging him with Battier, the lengthy McGrady, and the immovable Yao, gives the Rockets one of the best defensive teams... ever.  These guys are going to be good -- really good.  Yao was a frontrunner for the MVP before he went down; if he can stay healthy this year, the Rockets are as good a bet as anyone for the title.

  7. Rockets Are Going To Have The One Thing They Lack With This Trade Toughness Regardless Of What Ron Does (Hope He Doesn't Do Anything Like Beat The $h!t Out Of A Fan) It Will Still Make Them Tougher And Take Some Of The Pressure Of T-Mac And  Yao

  8. Philadelphia 76ers

By signing Elton Brand they instantly become contenders in the East.

  9. houston, got artest for nuthin

    76er's instantly became a force

portland  quietly their team has been stackd with talent

    new orleans with posey

  10. ehh...Houston being a postseason favorite???? Sigh...only if they can win the first round LOL!!!  Ever since Clyde Drexler left, this team had gone absolutely nowhere.  But anyways, last 10 years:

    98: lose to jazz 2-3

    99: lose to lakers 1-3

    04: lose to lakers 1-4

    05: lose to mavs 3-4

    07: lose to jazz 3-4

    08: lose to jazz 2-4

    09: lose to ???

  11. I would have to say the best moves were by the clippers, 76ers, rockets, and hornets. Reason why the clippers made a good move is by signing baron davis but now that brand left the clippers and signed with the 76ers i think that was good move and now hes making them 6ers a little more decent with his presents on the roster. Now the rockets made a good move by getting Ron artest. Now if him and T-mac and Yao Ming can be on the same page I seen this team going into the playoff as the 2 seed or 1 seed, maybe to the finals if they can play there cards right and be on the right page. Now the hornets made kind of a good move adding more scoring and D to there roster by signing James Posey. I cant believe that Boston let this guy go just like the heat did and when they did that this guy won 2 rings off of 2 teams with his presents on the floor, and now that Boston let him go also, I see him helping the hornets bring a title back to N.O. now CP3 (Chris Paul) should be happy about adding this guy to the mix and will come off the bench on fire. I see them being 1 seed and rockets 2 if the 3 can be on the same page.
