Pretty tight race huh? Phil have more money, Ernie more victories.......are PGA wins worth more prestige because of bigger purse?

Please come up with some intelligent motivations!!

  2. Don't think your use of" motivations" is correct but nevertheless, both careers are good for today's competition. Whether one has victories around the world  because these were the ones Els played, or Stateside victories for this was Phil"s domain, the competition was always keen, there were always contenders vieing for the win. Els has the swing I would prefer to see emulated, but Phil does very well when he keeps his under control.

Let me begin by saying that I loathe Phil for reasons I will not get into, but I would have to say that he has had the better career.  I think this because despite Ernie winning more tournaments, Enie has not done much lately.  I know he was hurt for a while, but Phil has consistantly been in the hunt in since Tiger took off.  Phil has been the only one to challenge Tiger week in and week out and many of Ernie's victories were in the 90's and on foreign tours.
