Who had the worst WWE title reigns ever ?

Not counting the short term reigns such as Kane, Orton/HHH from No Mercy07.

Randy Orton really didn't take on any convincing challengers for the WWE title except for John Cena and Triple H, if that counts. He took on Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho in a few underhyped matches... I think the age of Orton would have been more convincing if he had taken on some of the larger jabronis such as Snitsky and Umaga.

Diesel, Great Khali, Big Show, Kane.....the common factor is that they are all "giants".  "Creative" has difficult time attempting to book a big man outside of the basic "freak of nature" or "unstoppable force" angle.

I'm only going from the last few years.. and my answer would be Rey Mysterio. I'll be honest, I don't even REMEMBER his title reign other than he held the belt for a short time. Not interesting AT ALL. Vince said he was just used as a "transitional" champion.

against Hulk Hogan in February 1988,after he won,he handed the

belt over to the Million dollar man Ted Dibiase,later WWF

president Jack Tunney striped Andre of the belt and it

became vacant

andre the giant held the title for about 45 secs then he sold it to ted diabise, and any john cena title reign.

Bob Backlund. - Some long time fans may disagree but Backlund's first title reign was utterly boring, imo.  He was often dominated by heels who were bigger, better AND more interesting to the general public (Jimmy Snuka destroyed Backlund on numerous occasions, and Don Muraco manhandled him a few times as well) yet always held onto the belt via some technicality.  When he WON the belt vs. Superstar Billy Graham, Graham's foot was on the ropes, but the decision stood. One of Vince McMahon Jr's first moves as "acting WWWF President" was to get the belt off Backlund, and put it on Hulk Hogan. In hindsight, I'd have to agree with Vince's judgement.
