Who has 40" BRAVIA® S Series LCD Flat Panel HDTV?

Question

I'm about to buy a new TV and I am trying to stay under the $1400 range. I've narrowed it down to the above mentioned TV and the SAMSUNG 37" 1080p LCD HDTV - LN37A550. I know the Samsung has gotten great reviews, but I haven't found any reviews for the Sony. I know its probably a value TV, but does anyone have any experience with it?

Yes I have two (Sony) each of them are in the bedrooms of both of my houses, one In Australia and one in the US, I absolutely love them!!  The picture is great and the price is great!!  I haven't had them very long, the one in US I got over Christmas and the one in AUS I got in January, haven't had any problems with them yet!

I have one, got it in sept. 2007 at Costco for $1300. I have had no problems with it so far and I really enjoy it. The colors are excellent and even the sound is some kind of surround sound I do believe. I also have the Sony upconverting DVD player and it matches well with the TV. The reason I went with the Sony is everywhere I went to look at TV's, the Sony would always stand out with it's picture quality. I love mine, it was an excellent purchase. Good luck.
