Who has a better Jab Kelly Pavlik Or Winky Wright?

Hands down kelly pavlik... his combination jab jab punch is a killer... plus, he aims only for the head... great fighter...

trust me winky would win the jab war if they were to face off. winky has impanatrable defense. only bhop  knew how to get in. pavlik has the hardest jab but winky has the best jab in the game hands down. he made trinidad look silly by jabbing him  to death

Winky has a superior jab. Thats basicaly one of winkys best weapons. Kelly's jab isnt bad either but hes not known for it , may have been able to look good jabbing taylor but wouldnt against a different fighter. Hes more known for his heart and aggresiveness in the ring , thats what wins him his fights not his jab.

A jab isnt a knockout punch, its a feeler thats supposed to create timing and openings. Its based on its precision, and the ability to throw it at multiple targets. Winky can make his entire fight nothing but jabs, as he did against Mosely and Trinidad...and they backed away.

Pavlik doesnt throw a jab, by its nature, cause its TOO strong. If anything what he would be throwing is a left hand lead. Its why it misses quite a bit.

Reask the question and make it Winky Wright versus Joe Calzaghe...THEN we can fight  ;)

Execution of the jab, I'd have to go with Wright. Kelly definitely gets the power award in jabbing. Overall, I may have to go with Pavlik, because of the power of his jab and the possibility of his jab actually getting better.

Winky Wright.  Has better technique and uses it better than Pavlik.  Although Pavlik's jab carries more power, it's the usage of the jab to set-up other punches that makes it effective. Winky is a master in jabbing.
