  1. John F. Kennedy -- he is also the youngest to die in office...

  2. JFK.

  3. Teddy Roosevelt was the youngest

JFK was the youngest elected president

  4. While many believe that John F. Kennedy was the youngest president, Theodore Roosevelt actually was.  Roosevelt ascended to the presidency at the age of 42 years, 10 months, and 18 days.  John F. Kennedy became president at the age of 43 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

However, John F. Kennedy is the youngest person ever *elected* president.  Roosevelt was elected vice-president and became president when William McKinley was assassinated.  When Roosevelt was elected president in 1904, he was 45 years old.

  5. Theodore Roosevelt was the youngest man to serve as president when he took over after William McKinley's assassination. He was 42.
