  1. Nudist beach are freakin sweet. I went to one in France the one year and hooked up with the one hot french girl and we........ oh sorry and I really don't think you shouldn't be scared except if you have something to hide that is. Overall they are awesome

  2. Years ago I went to the nude beach that is part of the Monte Carlo Sporting Club when I was there for a Formula One race.  It was... er... interesting.!

  3. Hi Scotty,

What are you scared of?  It's just human skin.  Swimming and sunbathing nude is both fun and healthy, especially because nudism is not a beauty pageant but being comfortable in your own skin and respecting other people's body shapes and sizes.

Yes, there are a number of unsavoury people who go to nudist beaches but the more you fear them the more you give your power away to them.  If you feel they are being intrusive on your personal space, tell them to either go away or get out your mobile phone and call the police.  That usually deals with the problem then and there.

I think nudist beaches need to have lifesavers and beach inspectors to help police the behaviour of people who go to them.

  4. Normally, a nude beach is just people kicking out, enjoying the sun and breeze.  Playing frisbee, reading, chatting, beach combing..... gee, sounds just like a regular beach!

The people are far more laid back, and less judgemental though.  Non-sexual.

Go and enjoy.  You'll realize pretty quickly you're not the center of attention after you strip off.  If you get an erection, roll over and cover it until it subsides.

Chances are, there will be a few gawkers, but they're usually harmless twits, probably the closest they've been to b***s since they were weaned.

  5. They are pretty much like any other beach.  You just don't have to deal with wet clammy swimsuits.

It takes about 15 minutes to get used to being naked, and then it is no big deal.

  6. Yes, and you don't have to worry about getting sand in your bathing suit!  Terrific!

  7. Black's beach, San Diego.

    Fantastic!  Give it a try.

  8. first, go. You'll never know if you never go.

second, take your time. It's clothing optional, not clothing forbidden, so when you find your spot, strip to your normal gear, then when you feel comfortable, take the rest off.

third, there will probably be enough space that you'll be far enough away from the next person that they won't see much of your, umm... detail. It won't be packed like a heat wave at the main beach.

fourth, maybe take a beach tent if you want the security of a shelter for the nervous moments.

I don't want to put you off, but there will be occasional lurkers. You shouldn't be threatened that they will do anything, because the numbers on the beach should provide that level of safety, but you may feel a little dirty or used until you get over that, after all, you're putting it all out on show, you can't really complain if people see it. On that note, I'm all for Dario's Beach patrol idea.

  9. If you really want to go, then go. I was neverous that I kept putting it off.  Once I went, all I could think is what a wonderful feeling. This is awesome!!! Why did I wait?

  10. My first nude beach experience was as an undergrad at UC Santa Barbara. I went with a group on a dare, loved it and have been frequenting them ever since. Here in Southern California, Black's Beach near San Diego is undoubtedly the largest while San Onofre is smaller but doesn't involve climbing down a steep 300' cliff.

I can only speak from a woman's standpoint but nude beaches (unless they are at a resort) are overwhelmingly male. This isn't all together bad (wink) but it may make a woman going there for the first time feel a certain unease unless she is accompanied by her b/f, husband or friends. Males by contrast have no hesitation, probably because they've been showering in locker rooms after playing sports for years.

Once at the beach everyone pretty much naturally blends into whatever location on the beach they feel the best. We have sand volleyball people, couples corner, g**s and people who like to spend relaxing quiet time alone. My feeling is that your nude beach fright will last about five minutes after which time you will become as dedicated a fan as I am.
