My input:

Yes, we go to the NFR, but did not get to go last year!  IT is fun, but you sit pretty far up in the nosebleed section, unless you have connections.

We have lots of fun...  BUT< man oh man, COWBOY CHRISTMAS is the best part of it all for us!  BRING lots of money!  YOU have 3, maybe more now, different places to SHOP, for all kinds of tack, western wear, furniture, jewelry, supplements...etc.

We usually take our two teenage girls and give them cash to spend on themselves as their Christmas gift from us...

YOU will love the NFR...but, don't miss Cowboy Christmas!

I get sent for free by my rodeo associations for being queen. :) Loves it! Anyway, the last time I went paying for tickets we bought them from people who had planned to go but couldn't make it. Great seats that way. Or you could see if any tickets are still available in the higher seats. Too bad you didn't ask a few days ago! I won tickets in a raffle and gave them away!! (you could try raffles too!)

Won't be going this year. Sadly NFR is right around Futurity season. Like another poster stated. Hotel accommodations are going to be hard to find and most people purchase tickets pretty early in the year and set up flight and hotel plans then. However, Ebay does have tickets for sale- not all are cheap though.

I did my best but could never quite make it. Oh wait you mean to watch? Haha. Its the if you have been a big rodeo, near your home. About 10000000000000000000 times bigger and better. That and its in Vegas Baby. Just be ready a lot of things are overpriced. Naturally. Luck and have fun.

I've not been...those tickets are hard to get...and you may find your seats in the nose bleed section....keep checking with those individuals who have been there for additional hints on obtaining tickets!!

I still would like to go to just one NFR!

PS...Don't forget to hit "Cowboy Christmas" if you do get tickets...I understand it is outstanding!!  (acres of shopping)

I might.... A friend may have extra tickets. & I live here, so I don't have to pay for anything else.

hope you dont need hotel rooms. hotels are booked up to a year in advance for the NFR. also, all of the good tickets are sold out within hours of sales opening to the public. any seat still available will be HORRIBLY far from the arena (bring your binoculars!)
