  1. Sergei Lavrov

  2. Russia started giving out passports to people in South Ossetia, which is a huge no no.

They also started amassing people at the Georgia border, and conducting "offensive" military drills.

    Georgia did invade, however.

Both sides are in the wrong.

  3. Georgia did started to attack Russian soil. I don't know why we are blaming Russians for their fault.

  4. Georgia actually did, and the Bear rose. I myself feel, that little country was used as a test. Just to see what Russia would do. I also have found it very interesting, how it all is being hushed hushed on local news channels, and newspapers. Got to go to the internet for updates now. LOL

  5. Georgia hit them first thinking that the U.S. was going to back their effort. Unfortunately for them, they didn't.

It was a political stunt and this was known long before Putin ever came out with the statement you're probably asking this question about.

  6. Georiga did. Why Russia's getting blamed is beyone me.

  7. Russian that is just common knowledge. why would a small nation like georgia go up against a super power like russia

  8. Georgia. or was it George?

  9. Georgia did but Russia have been a bit over-the-top about it all. Everyone knows they could start a new Cold War if they wanted to - who knows who they're trying to prove that to.

  10. Russia did, why Georgia is getting blamed for it is beyond me.

  11. US launches it. Georgian president is only a marionette - nothing more. Ask Condoleezza Rice - why she so often visit Saakashvili and what she said him. The reality is that there is not Ossetia-Georgian conflict which bring such resonance to world. It is a growing economical, political and military strenght after years of loosing positions of Russia  - the eternal US rival in world dominance, forced White House to try if not to take control over Ossetia and Abkhazia, than to compromise Russia showing it as aggressor on "poor little democracy of Georgia". And after Kosovo secede by force from Serbia and invasion in Iraq  - it is a great hypocrisy to blame Russia.

  12. Georgia did, but no one eve mention THAT little part of it.
