Who has contacts in the mining/accounting industry?

Hi everyone,

I have recently graduated from Sydney with a master degree in accounting and currently pursuing a graduate position in the accounting/tax industry; however, lately I became quite concerned if there’s any opportunity for me in the mining industry as an accountant.

I am just wondering if anyone has got any contacts in the mining business that he/she can refer me to, as I heard that it is really hard to get in, especially if someone has no prior experience in the same field.

Just to mention that contacts for any accounting position unrelated to mining are also appreciated. Also, I am willing to relocate anywhere in Australia if I had the chance to get accepted at a mining company so contacts from all states are welcomed too.

I know a friend who has a contact....its accounting not mining... but we haven't spoken for 2 years....

------i'll look up his phone number and email and see if it still works...
