Who has crazier fans: The Beatles or the Jonas Brothers?

Note that I asked who has crazier fans, not who is better. I could care less what you think about that. Just answer my question. I'm wasn't around when the Beatles were popular, but I have seen videos and stuff with all their insane fans, and now everyone is saying that the Jonas Brothers are the first band since the Beatles to have such crazy fans. Who do you think is crazier?

Well Jonas Brothers fans can be a little crazy (I should know I've been to a concert) but I REALLY DOUBT that this craze can be compared to the Beatles, because first of all there was a wider range of fans, and secondly most of the people during that time were on drugs, so they had more help being "excited" about the band.

If we take a look back at 1964. 70% of America tuned in to watch Ed Sullivan when The Beatles performed. When The Beatles arrived in America, they were swarmed by girls. The Beatles had fans ranging from adult men to young girls.

The Beatles did in their era. The Beatles had loads of crazy fans, including young adults, world wide. The Jonas Sisters just have American pre teens.... They're not that big over here in England, thank heaven.

Well, i read.

First of all, when The Beatles played at Shea Stadium in 1965, the crime rate in New York dropped. That pretty much says a lot.

Girls were once spotted EATING the GRASS wear Ringo walked.

One of the cars used for the Four after a concert got damaged by fans (they were not in it)- the door handle got ripped off, the roof caved in.

The screaming was so loud at concerts, The Beatles couldn't even hear themselves. (part of why they stopped touring)

The police sometimes needed hundreds of men to keep the fans back. People were always outside one their homes, i just saw a video and Ringo could hardly get to the car where George was waiting, because fans were literally all over him! Not to mention people sitting on top of the car as it drove away.

So really, it's not you i think is crazier, i KNOW that the jonas brothers' fame is about 1/3 (or less) than Beatlemania.

The Jonas Brothers for sure.

-They have had girls chase them down the street in their car.

-They've had a girl climb up their roof, and take pictures of their backyard.

-Girls have ran on stage to hug them, while they were performing.

-When not on tour, they usually have girls show up at their house daily.

-If one thing is said about The Jonas Brothers bad, we FREAK.

- And they were given a hippopotamus.

I wasn't alive during The Beatles decade, but my mom was a huge Beatles fanatic and she says that we're out of control...

I think that the Beatles are the group that i like best ,I am crazy for their music, they had the larges fun ever , and girls who saw them life, they peed them self and cried .

I wasn't around the beatles time but I think they had crazy fans in their time but I guess now its the jonas brothers time  I do think tht the jb may probly have crazier fans cuz they've sed b4 that they even have fans climbing a barb wired fence! Lol but hey who knows...

I have a strong feeling in about ten years, people are not going think twice about the jonas brothers. They'll be just like Hanson,or whatever that 90's group of blond headed brothers were called...

However, I have a 15 year old friend who loves the beatles and a  60 year old french teacher who is STILL in love with the beatles. Kinda creepy actually.

I'd have to say the Beatles, if only because of the fact that a good portion of their fans were tripping on LSD, at least during their later years.

Besides, "Beatlemania" has been around for decades.  Not only are past fans still crazy for them, but new generations are discovering their music for themselves.  The fact that the love for them has lasted this long is pretty crazy, if you ask me.
