Nice wee place. Well placed for trips to both Aberdeen and Dundee.

My Grandfather lived about 20 miles north of Montrose in Angus. I have been there. Beautiful place. I love the Tidal Basin, it is gorgeous. Also the Montrose Bridge.If you are going, make sure you check out Murray Street.

The beach is lovely, it's a about 10 minutes walk from the city center. The town has a lot of history, I think the poet Hugh MacDiarmid lived there for a while. It is arguably one of the best towns in the Angus region of Scotland.
