Who has ever won a contest/sweepstakes?

I have entered into numerous contests/sweepstakes and have never won anything in my life. I have entered into contests from retail stores, online sites, and many other places and haven't won. Did anyone personally win anything from a contest/sweepstake. If so, could you say what you won and from whom. Am I just unlucky, or is there just to many people in the world to win anything. I live in the US.

I wouldn't say that you're unlucky at all. The odds are just against you! The most I've ever won was a Superman Kryponite thing from a Superman/Quaker Oats promotion. It was something like 8th prize, and was basically a fist-sized plastic oval filled with green goo. Yay.

But, yeah, I enter a lot, too, and that's all folks!

I too have entered many sweepstakes and bought many raffle tickets in my time, have yet to win one prize. Some people make a career out of entering sweepstakes, many allow unlimited entries in separate envelopes, with the price of postage today, you could go broke just buying stamps and still not win. Odds of winning , maybe 1:  5,000,000. for something big, really not worth the effort.
