  1. ugh...definitely not me

  2. Nope its waaaaaaaaaaay too late.

If they told us about a decade ago, we would be in time.

  3. I have a little .Still a working progress

  4. I really don't care, but I guess I sorta have. I go bicycling everywhere I go. And organic food is really good.

  5. ME ME! PICK ME!

  6. I HAVE!!!!

  7. I want to, and I have already taken some steps.  I recycle everything I can, I use as little water as possible, I re-use water if possible, I buy locally grown produce when it's available, I buy organic when it's cheap enough to do, I at least go with the most natural products possible when it's inconvenient to buy organic, and I make good use of leftover food.

Unfortunately, it annoys me to no end that the garbage disposal is not working, and the dogs raid the compost pit too much for it to be effective.

  8. luv it

  9. I have!  Here are some things I have done, and you can totally adopt some of them as your own if you want!  Here they are:

~Of course, recycle everything I can! (Ex: cans, bottles, plastics, paper, ect.)

    ~Buy energy saving light bulbs

~Buy things like clothes, paper, ect that are made from recycled materials

~Use reusable batteries or recycle dead batteries properly

    ~Use reusable shopping bags

~When I have plastic shopping bags, I use them instead of just tossing them. They can be used to pick up dog poo, line small trash cans, ect.

~Try not to use paper napkins or paper towel as much as possible. Instead use cloth napkins that can be washed.

~Try to use fewer paper plates and more washable ones.

    ~Take shorter showers

    ~Turn off lights whenever possible

~Try to buy more organic foods and local foods (for example, at a farmer's market)

    ~Use regular silverware, not plastic

~Use eco friendly products in replace of regular dish washing liquids, house cleaners, ect. (Greenworks)

~Use cold water to wash clothes (Tide Cold water works great)

~On a nice day, I turn off the air/heat and open some windows. You save of the cost, get a nice fresh breeze, and help the environment.

~Planted trees around my house to shade and save on using more air conditioning

~Bought one stainless steel, reusable, water bottle instead of using regular plastic ones and then getting rid of them. This one you can clean and use over and over again!

~Change the setting on my sprinklers to use less water

~Bought eco friendly fertilizers (I they have them at Home Depot)

~When I painted my room, I used eco friendly paint at Home Depot

~Walk or ride a bike wherever possible

    ~Carpool if possible

This is what I am trying to do to help the environment.  I'm just trying to spread the word to get others to do at least one of these things too!  Thanks for going green!

  10. Just voted green.

  11. a lil

im 14 and i shut the water off as i brush my teeth then juss rinse when done

    recycle what i can

(juss have to cut down on showers i take 2 a day and for a good 10-15 min each)

  12. i try to do the small things, but not too much more. i am about to adopt my own street and organize a creek clean up as well though.

  13. A little but I'm always working to do so... I walk to work instead of driving.

  14. i have

  15. I am trying to by unplugging my computer, phone, and reducing water use!

  16. I have. Here's what I've done over the past year that I had not already been doing:

*Sold my SUV and bought an 85 mpg scooter; had an old car fixed up as well.

*Bought and installed wash line and rarely use my dryer.

*Bought and installed those curly-Q light bulbs.

*Drastically cut my driving. Driving slower. Working 4 day weeks instead of 5 day.

*Stocked up on firewood for winter so I can keep my thermostat low this winter.
