I have. It was all right nothing special. It was not as cheap as most of mexico. It is one of the more expensive tourist towns. The cliff divers show was alright. Carlos and charlies is the best for partying and drinks and food. But I have been to quite a few citys in mexico and acapulco was just alright compaired to mazatlan and so forth. Mazatlan was way better.

I have been to Acapulco. If you want to party and get ripped off because you are a tourist, be my guest. If you like a nice beach forget it. The sand is very coarse, the water gets deep very fast, the surf will pound you into the deep water or jagged sand and if you are on the beach there will be about 500,000 people bugging you to buy all kinds of junk you neither need nor want. But wait, that's the good part. There are over 1,000,000 full time residents in Acapulco. 750,000 do not have adequate plumbing and guess where that raw sewage goes? Into the bay. So yes, the ocean smells pretty bad in Acapulco.

I have and I loved it!

Especially the Caleta beach and Pie de la Cuesta. The weather was perfect, the beaches were clean and safe, the food was wonderful(ly spicy) and the people were friendly!

I also loved watching the jumper off the cliffs of Playa Condesa!
