T-mac! I think that carter could have been better but hes one of the lazy athletes, really good till hes rich than doesnt care anymore. Always hurt or useless. Another contract year might make him good again but even thats a maybe. T-mac is considered top 5 offensive players in the league, has been for years.  Always works hard and is well respected. His only knock is his curse ( cant get out of the first round)  but hes going to have a long career as a superstar and Carter is already put himself at midlevel

When Carter did the best dunk ever done, that is almost as good as setting 3 records in the NBA.. No one really cares about records anymore..

. He probably will be known for that for a long time and people will be asking "Who's T-Mac?".

I will have to pick T-Mac. Why? Barring injuries, T-Mac is one of the most consistent and clutch players in the game. When you need a 3, T-Mac is there to hit it. Yah, if you look at the stats, they are about the same player, but think about this. Vince Carter played in one of the best college basketball systems at North Carolina while T-Mac came straight out of high school. Carter was definitely more polish than McGrady, but he worked hard enough to reach super star status. Also, I never really saw a good mid range game from Carter, to me it seems like either he takes a long jump shot, or he breaks his defender down and attacks the basket, as for T-Mac, he could stop and pop, sink the 3, and break your ankles. And that is why I think that Tracy McGrady has had a better career than Vince Carter.

Tough question, but I gotta say Vince Carter, he was a phenom when he came into the league and he was one of the most popular players in his Toronto days but injuries have dogged him lately and he became a dangerous 3 point shooter.  T-Mac is good and he's become better lately at this stage of their respective careers.  However taken as a whole I'd say Carter has the better career SO FAR.
