Who has had a convincing answer when challenging a racist with this classic question.?

Has any one had a proper answer when challenging a racist to this question; (to a white racist) If you were drowning would you stop a black man from saving you ??

I have never had a white racist answer that one with any conviction.

Question Answer session is one thing and life and death question quite another. When death is imminent, one would cling on to the leg of even a donkey.

This shows that life is precious than convictions.

Good one. Another good one is to ask whether they would refuse to see a black Dr. if they were dying and no one else could help them.

You have to understand that racism is a form of mental illness.

The answer to your question is Yes, I would let him save me - then I'd push him in

However this was over heard in th good old USA and was reworded to suit your question - the actual answer was Yes, then I'd shoot him

Added - why do some morons put thumbs down to an answer to a question that is true - the man asked a question and was given a true answer that was overheard relating specifically to that question - you are morons

There is no convincing answer because it is a profoundly stupid question - a nonsequitur.  If you were drowning would you refuse help from a racist? If the answer is no does that mean you support racism?

Not a racist. And no, I wouldn't stop him. Yes, I would save him if he were drowning if I could. But I usually suggest to racist of all colors to study the history and current situations in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia. Then tell me how well people of the same race get along with each other.

A racist couldn't even tell you why he's a racist.  Some people are just prejudiced.  It's useless to try and change their minds.  And of COURSE he'd let a black man save him if he were drowning.  But then instead of being thankful, he'd just go back to being as he was before.
