  1. My last name was changed when my Mom married my Dad, and all I remember of it was a judge asking me if I wanted my Dad to be my daddy.  I obviously said yes, and we did all the required paperwork.

  2. You will have to inform both the school and exam boards in writing with legal proof of the name change. and then yes if there given enough time, your GCSE and a level qualification will have your changed name.

  3. I knew a guy named John Lipschitz who didn't like that name and went to court to get it changed.

The judge asked what he wanted to change it to.

    He said, "Henry Lipschitz"

  4. change your name to Bumbum thats a good one

  5. I have about 20 years ago my last name but it didn't cost me anything I have friends in the legal business.

  6. Hi, I have had a legal name change . You have to take care of any legal documents yourself. Social Security, Wills, House Titles, anything that has your former name on it. It's easy though. You just take a copy of your  legal court document to prove the change is legal.

You should take care of all documents as soon after the change as possible.

Good Luck and you won't regret doing this.
