Question:

Who has heard of disc golf?

i was an avid player in highschool but when i moved states i had no idea where any courses were but now i found one close by and thinking of starting up again after this baby though lol

anyone else play? its been years for me i really cant remember all teh discs i will need and what each one does lol its beenthat long

    you can go to a sports store and find them and i have seen some were they tell you like long distance or short distance on the disc. i have played a few times.

  2. The best way you can go is simply pdga.com.  They give a ton of course listings. Also, you can go to discgolfdirectory.com, for another comprehensive location listing.  

    For disc golf you need a driver, a mid-range disc, and a putter.  I throw mainly Innova, so if I had to take three discs with me, they would be an Orc (driver), Panther (mid-range) and an Aviar (putter).  Pretty standard discs, but i'm sure you have your stuff stashed away in the basement or in your closet somewhere.  

    Another good website just for some really good referencing is gottagogottathrow.com  <------AWESOME stuff there.

    And yes, play as soon as possible, because winter is right around the corner.
