I know I have. It isn't the same anymore since CHAMP and Indy broke up. I know they are back together again, but it just isn't the same. A bunch of no name drivers with only Honda powered cars. Not like the old days of A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Bobby Unser, Mario Andretti, Emerson Fittipaldi, etc.

  1. I did. Ended up watching Cubs-Pirates & Rockies-Mets. These guys can't drive-keep bouncing off the walls. Then, 20 + laps under yellow ???

  2. i have it seem s my only interest is frends and s*x...

  3. Well yes you are right the past talent is not there anymore and I also liked the good old days..I am 26 and I grew up watching E.Fittipaldi,Rick Meers,John-Jeff,Mario and Michalel Andretti and many others and wait I can't forget Bobby Rehal and Gil Ferran...But todays Series there is also some intersting drivers to watch like Helio,Danny Weldon,Dixon and Kanaan and sadly to me one of the best that just left for Nascar Sam Hornish and to me I keep watching I believe IRL needs the support from the fans who really enjoy the series....Yes was there a huge mistake when they split in 96?Definately but there is a effort to put on a great show on sunday's afternoon.....Hang in mne dont give up...

  4. Well I feel sorry for you all.  I am still quite interested, and do wish you'd give it another look.  Everything changes in time, and "Time waits for no man."

  5. I never had intrest in it

  6. Do they still run that?

  7. never interested

  8. I'm beginning to !

  9. I have tried to find something interested with racing and nothing, nothing.

  10. They slimmed down the league so much that it's hardly worth the time to hang out like people did in those old days.  Where are the women showing off their t---s, where are the women running around naked 15 miles away from the track?  I had friends who met and mated at a 500 and who found each other in time to marry before the baby.  Oh, the old days.

Anyway, you've got a good point.  Even NASCAR doesn't use real trucks or stock cars.  Nothing's like those drivers who had to run in dirt before they got the chance to enter a big race.

  11. i dont know what ppl expect. its still cool if you like racing. i can watch any format and love it cause i love the speed and the thrill

  12. i kinda of have. But i like watching Danica Patric

  13. I only watch one race in the IRL, the Indy 500. I guess I just got used to watching it over the years. Maybe the fact that I live in Indiana has something to do with it. Home state pride, I guess.

  14. You're definetly right, it has lost its integrity.

I have never been a fan - they just drive around in circles!

  15. NO NAME DRIVERS?

check your sources. although i do agree.. youve named some legends. but in no way, shape, or form is the indy 500 filled with no names.

youve got dan wheldon, scott dixon, helio castroneves, tony kanaan, marco andretti, vitor meira, danica patrick...

those are some heavy hitters and some great drivers.

the list goes on. what a shame that you arent giving them the recognition they deserve.

THE INDY 500 IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE GREATEST SPECTACLE IN RACING!!!!!

  16. I don't really find any interest on in racing. Let alone NASCAR! I used to like nascar until Dale Earnhardt Jr. signed over with someone else and took number 88.

  17. Names change ya know. Foyt and Andretti are still racing at Indy, just not the ones from before. Rahal is still there as well. It is the biggest single day sporting event in the world and is still the greatest spectacle in racing.
