I don't like Ray Nagin because I consider him both racially insensitive and a failure, but he still has more executive experience than Obama has experience in the senate.  This is partially because, unlike Obama, Mayor Nagin actually shows up to work every day instead of just to vote "present" and pick up a paycheck.

I will never get the picture out of my mind where "school bus" Nagin is screaming "where are the buses" while thousands of buses were underwater because he did not want to use them.
