I doubt any official research has been done, so I'd say that the best indicator would be average home game attendances, in which case the top four consists of the three Queensland teams and Newcastle at number four.

I would say Newcastle - they have only one team in AUstralia's fourth largest city and the area is very keen on football. Not that it does their team much good.

Yes broncos might have sell out matches but that dosent mean each and every spectator is a broncos supporter.Ive been to heaps of games at suncorp(Lang park) and the crowd is no where near all broncos fans

i reckon its got to be a Queensland team broncos were still averaging something like  35000 a game and they were losing...Queensland supporters love the game and they support there teams win lose or draw

Parramatta, their not called "the Parramatta Army" for nothing ! They also have one of the largest Junior areas and long produced the "best juniors in the world"
