Who has noticed the many cars with only one brake light, even on new cars. What is behind this?

  1. now that everything is being made in china, we get nothing but c**p.


  2. I see 20 plus cars and trucks a day with this and I believe that is it caused by the use of cheaper quality bulbs.

  3. people can't see if their brake lights are working or not, and many don't think to check them, so they don't know when to replace them. whereas if a tire goes flat, or a headlight blows, you notice the fault easily and fix it.

    lights blow all the time because incandescent (lights with a filament) are very sensitive to bumps and vibrations. the filament in them breaks very easily when hot. not the best option for a car which hits 1000's of bumps a day, but one of the only ones up until LED's became more available.
