I don't know what GBS represents, maybe the name of the inventor/innovator. I believe there might be one or two in the USA. Who knows who owns one or might there be one at a museum? I would like to see what it would take to duplicate its systems. I'm frustrated with high waste fuel, prices, pollution, inefficiency. How differently could I spend the money I could save using this alternative electrical/mechanical unit?

  1. . GBS is 'Gros Bon Sens' , meaning in the strictest sense: Large Good Direction.  In other words, this car will get you there!

But from what I know, it was NOT mass-produced in any way, just kind of a prototype. There aren't any exisiting, not even the diagrams.

But why are you trying to re-invent the wheel?  There are plenty of conversion kits invented by Professionals. There are even a few electric cars for sale, as I've heard it. .

  2. wow they had those back then? nice
