Who has read Deathwatch by Robb White?

Could you please summarize it for me?

I'm still reading it. The book has tough vocabulary and it's kind of hard for me to understand it.

This guy agrees to take a guy out hunting for big-horn sheep, and when they go out the guy says he saw a big-horn and the guide tells him not to take the shot, but he does anyways, and they later find out it was a drifter or something, and the guy tries to bribe the guide into not telling anyone about that incident. He refuses, then he gets stripped down and has to find his way back to his home town, the guide gets shot a couple times with a rifle, and the guide finds a slingshot and shoots the guy a couple times, they both make it back to the town, and the guide gets into trouble for shooting the guy with the slingshot and has a bunch of lawyers accusing him of murder of the drifter, and they eventually start to believe the guide and arrest the guy who shot the drifter. I think that's the just of it.
