I recently finished Breaking Dawn. Now, all I can think about is the books! I loved every single page of every book. But seriously now I can not stop thinking about Edward and Bella! I feel kind of empty and sad knowing there isnt going to be another addition to the series. Did anyone else feel this way after reading the books, and how long before it goes away?

  1. YES! I have and read all of them.

Just came back from a Breaking Dawn party at the library and got another copy of Twilight from a raffle and 27 brand new Twilight posters LOL. Yes. 27! I also got like 5 pins that says: I was bitten by Breaking Dawn and lots of sheets of Twilight related stickers! Bite and scratch mark tattoos are all over my arm !! hahhaaa LOVE TWILIGHT

I hate that it's over, but it's not like I can do anything about it. I'll just have to live with that or read or write some continuation of the book that fans write. or write my own and pretend that stephenie meyer wrote it lol

  2. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

    - Dr. Seuss

I had to keep reminding myself of that when I finished Breaking Dawn. I totally agree with you, I can't stop thinking about Renesmee and Bella and Edward and Jasper! (I love Jasperr!)

  3. yeah i know. but dont cry cause midnight sun from edwards point of view is coming out.

you can read the first twelve chapters on www.scribd.com

  4. omg!!!

    same here!!!!!

and i was liek so sad for like three days that if i thought about it to long i could even get to the feeling of alomost crying.

all though i did cry when i finished bd.

and after a while you think about it less i guess.

    but im still sad.

and looking foward to the midnight sun and the movies to get my mind off it.

ohh yeahh if you go to her website (stephenie meyer) you can read the first chapter of midnight sun.

    so yeahh.

    god luck!

  5. *sigh I know just how you feel. Its like we've grown so attached to the characters and we've always taken comfort in knowing that when we are done with whatever book we were on in the series we could read the next one and continue on absorbing what happened, but not anymore. Bella's story may be over, but when you are sad you can always remind yourself that midnight sun is coming out eventually. (midnight sun is twilight from edward's point of view) And you could also read The Host, another book by stephenie meyer. I've read it and its amazing! I've also been reading a lot of other books since I finished breaking dawn to get over the sadness. I recomend any books by Sarah Dessen. Good luck!

  6. Yeah I'm pretty bummed too, but you should get on Stephenie Meyer's internet site. You can read the first chapter of Twilight but through Edward's eyes. It is just a rough draft, but she is planning on publishing it. You should check it out!

  7. I'm almost done New Moon and read Twilight 3 times. I'm getting the third one from a friend on the first day of school. Can't wait!!!

  8. I felt the same way too. You'll get over it soon. Just think that the movie is coming out very soon. In the meantime, try some new books to keep your mind off of it. If you still want to read vampire books I recommend, Blue bloods by Melissa De La Cruz.

  9. So yep! It is over *sniff sniff*, but not quite yet! Remember there's always Midnight Sun (The story from Edward's Perspective) and the Twilight Dictionary (which I believe is coming somewhat soon)... About the closure feeling... well I read BD over a month ago and I still have it but I've found a way to mitigate the sorrow... FanFiction! Love reading it and writing so whenever I fell I'm low on EdwardxBella I just find some new Fanfic and that's it!

  10. i always feel that way especially when it ends without an ending don't worry it goes away when you pick up anther good book

  11. all you have to do is read another book by stephenie meyer :] like the host then keep reading good books and itll go away

  12. Yes, but there are so many more great books out there@

  13. i feel exactly the same way that you do....i absolutely looooooove them and i cant stop thinking of te books and am am very sad too that stephenie meyer wont write any other books in bella's view :( i wanted to read at least one more book when bella is at least like 2 years old as a vampire so we could see what bella feels like having to go to high school again or maybe even darmouth, or so we could see renesmee grown up :( but im very excited for midnight sun to come out bc it might be more interesting than twilight bc we get to see more of the cullens and see who they really are and stuff bc of edward;s mind reading ability and also understand who edward really is. but stephenie meyer said she might write a book in renesmee's perspective or Leah's perspective but mostly LEah bc she says that her story isnt completely told yet. so yeah i feel the same way you do but i can;t wait for the movie to come out!!!! its gonna be the best movie int the world!!!!!

I AM AN OBSSESED AND EXCITED ~*~TWILIGHTER~*~

    I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ~OBSSESIVE *CULLEN* DISORDER~ ;)

  14. I know exactly how you feel!!! I am just really excited for Midnight sun, the first book in the series that is from Edwards Point of View.As for the feeling, it goes away in a couple of days, it just depends on how busy you keep yourself so that you don't think about it

  15. the question is what loser hasn't read the Twilight series. As you can tell by my name, I am completely obsessed with Edward Cullen, and I don't think the obsession will ever go away, so I don't think I will be able to help you much on this one!!

    \ /, <3, & Edward,

    Mrs, Edward Cullen

  16. I did, and still do but it fades with time. Try reading other books, it helps. Even though nothings ever lived up to twilight I have read some other REALLY good books, tell me if you want me to name some.

  17. Well first, you give yourself a good slap. Then you realize that you will never meet a real vampire, and if you did they probably wouldn't be hot and vegetarian.

Then you read a bunch of classics to break the obsession. Then you read other fantasy books, and get on with your life.

    It's possible.

Maybe they should have a Twiloholics Anonymous or something. I know people who need it. I could make money off of this idea...

  18. i know..... the whole time i was reading breaking dawn i was wishing that the book could of just been 1,000 pages instead of just 700

but i also never knew the stephenie meyer was going to write the first book in edwards point of view so now i have something to look forward too!!!! haha but wat sucks is that the first book is the book with the least pages so ill be done with it quick.......... but i have to keep telling myself to enjoy it while i can.... =]

    Mrs. Cullen <333333

  19. I have. They're okay, nothing special, but enjoyable and rereadable.

    ♥M♥

  20. I know i feel the exact way i like read it over and over again.... omg i just cant get enough of that series.... and im not joking it is the best book iv evr read!!!! But im looking forward to the movie and midnight sun (edwards side of the story)!!!!

  21. I totally agree but there are some really good books in the same genre by some really good writers coming soon like pc cast's untamed and richelle mead's shadow kiss,  so I'm not too sad.
