  1. have you ever tried a memory abc book? or fractured fairy tales or nursery rhymes writing project?

  2. Hi,

Some ideas that i did when i was in 3rd grade where making visors like gluing things on it and doing some games like maybe pajama day or a read in kids love read in's! Those are my ideas and i hope i helped!

  3. My kids love to hear me read....I guess they figure they are not having to do the work....so I'm reading Charlotte's Web and the last day of school we are going to watch the movie during our party.  I teach grade 1.

  4. I don't know how many days you have left, but we always did a countdown which I started on the same day as the number of students I had.  I put big numbers on the wall outside the door and every day a student would take a number off at the end of the day.  On the back of each number there was a fun activity to do...bubble gum blowing contest, make and fly paper airplanes, bubble blowing, extra recess, kickball, sidewalk chalk drawing, find a corner and read to each other, paint a picture, etc.  This could still work even if you only have a few days left.  The kids could hardly wait until the end of the day to see what the special activity was.
