Mom-and-Pop rental stores usually have new releases, but not too much older stuff.

Room for Romeo Brass - Directed by Shane Meadows. He's an up coming director from Nottingham England, and he hires a lot of relatively unknown actors from Nottingham. His films are incredible though. I recently bought a box set of his movies after seeing the first one, and they're all incredible.
