Who has some piercing advice?

I pierced my smiley yesterday with a saftey pin.

it isn't infected or anything but i want to gauge it to a six teen should i wate or go for it?

That's all kinds of stupid. If you use a safety pin and need to ask this kind of advice on the internet (and yahoo answers, not even a body modification site), you certainly shouldn't be piercing yourself.

Take it out. Hope you don't get an infection. Go to a pro in the future.

It's never a good idea to pierce anything by yourself, let alone without a sterile piercing needle!

just make sure to clean it everyday with a medicated soap and rinse your mouth (with saltwater AT LEAST)  after you eat.

It's normal to have a bit of puss come out when you clean it, because that is your body getting rid of that stuff, the medicated soap usually pulls all the toxins out.
