Who has taught you more about life? Your parents or your children?

My children have taught me more about life then any adult ever could. They might be little, and have no idea how to handle certain situations, but each one oft hem has taught me numerous things that no one older then me ever could have.

Having a baby at 16, definitely taught me numerous things about life. It taught me that people will judge you even if you are a great mom, the world has expectations and if you don't follow them no one will respect you. Your parents have expectations and in my case kicked me out after abusing me for 7 years. That baby, who is now 15 years old has taught me that being strong and being proud of what I did will get me much further then letting others put me down, She taught me that if I can raise a child at 16, I can do anything and so much more.

My 2 year old taught me that its okay to start over and try to improve myself. That having fun is the best thing for you, and that it's okay to quit being the over protective mom long enough to let her play in the rain and have fun.

My 1 year old has taught me that I have to be strong no matter what, almost losing her twice due to  a premature birth made me wantt o break down, i couldn't do it though.

Most def my children. Parents can teach you things, but until you experience them as a parent  yourself you never really know. My kids have taught me how to learn patience, and they constantly test me on my life skills in general.

It works miraculously and in sequence. First, our parents teach us how to be good kids. Then, our kids teach us how to be good parents.

Definately not my parents, unless you want to know exactly what NOT to do in life! My son has taught me to love unconditionally, to be patient, and to love my husband more and more everyday! I can't wait to see how haveing my daughter is going to change me! I love being a mom, not so much a daughter!

My kids. Because they are the motivation to see reality, and take the responsible approach to anything that comes up. My parents on the other hand, are nuts(like serious mental problems that the refuse to get help for, or ackowledge), and don't ever handle things responsibly. So yea..a 3yr8month old little girl, and a 7 month old little boy...have taught me more than my own parents! Sick thought, but it's the darn truth.

My baby is too young to teach me anything but I will say that parents teach you a lot and have a lot of wisdom but you may not realize it until you are older.
