It seems like all the good places either turned bad or shut down, case in point, old school Flint's. Everett & Jones near Jack London has had lack luster reviews. I want some real deal BBQ, help a guy out.

  1. I LOVED "old school" Flint's! What about Uncle Willie's (or did they close?!) (614 14th Street) or The Brick Pig's House (5973 Shattuck Ave)? I have friends who love Chef Edward's (1915 San Pablo Ave) and also Sonny's (7127 San Leandro St)  (I haven't been to either yet...). Reviews always seem to be mixed on this kinda' stuff as it's kinda' personal (one's taste in bbq that is!). I just think that ya' gotta' try 'em all--and sometimes a second time... Good luck! Good eatin'! And pleze share the results of your taste tests!
