  1. lovett murray from the dons is supposed to be fairly handy, Maurice rioli was golden gloves.

imawund- dont think it was wow Jones, too early, could of been Percy, what a victory,, think there was Keogh in there, doull ? Waite? not sure but not wow and def, Keogh number 8 got biffed. got it on sensational 70's, havent watched it for years.

Cam Mooney could go too i think, brown, Mooney and Carey, g.ablett snr.

who knows, we'll never find out either.

  2. Those 2 are the obvious choice, Brown & Hall. But I would put big bucks on Daniel Kerr against anyone. Saw him & Chicky sparring with Danny Green on TV over here in WA, those 2 can go alright. Agree with rogue too, i wouldnt want to tangle with Crawf.

  3. What about Chris Scott of the Brisbane Lions?

He ironed out three Irish players on our last tour over there. He copped a two years suspension for his effort.

Either he was very tough & could take out three opposition players with the biff, or else they dived & faked it like soccer players.

At the end of his scuffle there were three of them on the ground around him, all looking as though they'd been poleaxed by Mike Tyson.

  4. yeh your right J Brown has got crazy eyes aswell

but phil carman, robbie muire, john nicoles, and many more from back in the day

  5. This section is lame. Full of stupid questions.

  6. I have not seen a decent punch thrown for so long I would have no idea as to who may be able to handle themselves or not.

Mal Brown was the 'King' of the dukes. He had done a bit of boxing in his younger days. Have you ever seen that film clip of East Perth (WA premiers) playing Carlton (Vic premiers) in Adelaide at an end of year premiers carnival?

He flattened WoW Jones & then three other Carlton players, who came in to remonstrate. Three of the ones he dropped (& I mean, really dropped!) could not front up the next day against Port Adelaide & Port won by a point.

I forget what year it was....a year or two before he went to Richmond.

EDIT;;;;;;  Yes, Jonesy, you're right again. You jogged my memory - it was Percy!

Talking about fighting!!!....I just checked my e-mails & someone sent me a message on that they had received......from another member in here. I'd given up fighting in here but apparently others haven't!

I've cut & pasted the last couple of lines of the message...& here they are.

******You are entitled to your opinion and right to ask questions, but I'm just asking, can you consider just totally ignoring Chris and Wunda (and blocking them).

Just a thought....good luck and GO PIES!!!

    Rose (roguerage) *********

  7. I would have to agree with you.... J. Brown is the man, that many would fear and love.

  8. He may not have the best but Shane Crawford isnt afraid to raise his dukes any chance he gets.

  9. yeah id agree with you and just to add Barry hall would be up there as well-although probably not the same fear factor as he had 3 or so years ago-Bazza V J Brown that's a blue id pay to see.

  10. I think Forky summed up pretty good.

    Brown V Hall

    That would be good.
