Who has the best shot at the Championship this year?

It's a long season and we're not even halfway, yet, but if Rowdy Busch can keep up the pace and avoid wrecks or DNFs, he'll be tough to beat. Carl Edwards is no slouch and Hendrick motorsports appears to be getting stronger as well.

You know its still very early to tell.  I think that right now the way it stands it would be the strub.  Keep in mind it isn't the middle of the season yet and things can go wrong really quickly.  But my pick for the championship is Jr.  all the way.

Kyle Busch will win championships but I think this year isnt the year to get started.  He tears up too many cars.  Consistency is a big deal.  I think the championship will still run through Johnson, Stewart, and Gordon.  But with the stupid chase format with only 10 races, who really knows?

I really think it can be anyone in the top 12 when the Chase starts.

Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards or Tony Stewart!!! When they erase the points, kyle will get a hot head and probably wreck  a lot! He will do what he dose best, either win by luck, or take out soem good drivers, like he has been!

I agree that it'll probally be a HMS car and hopefully the #88!!but it still is pretty early in the season to tell just yet. Go Jr!!!

I think an RCR car will sneak in and take the title they might not have the wins of kyle but a DNF in the chase is very costly somethign RCR drivers rarely have.

It only takes a few bad runs to turn things around and neither of the top three in points right now has had that .  Its gonna happen so at this point no one inside the top 8 or ten is locked in as having the best shot.  There are several drivers that will get on a hot streak as well such as #20, #48 and #24.  Right now no one has the best shot.  Its too early.  Look at what Jeff did last year then Jimmie went crazy during the chase when it counted.   Yes unfortunately for Jr, Kyle and Burton fans the bad weeks still lurk.   Its not IF but WHEN.

Maybe im just saying this cuz I HATE HATE HATE kyle busch... lol but i really don't think it will be him. i think tony stewart has a small shot and carl edwards has one too.

its still early in the season, but im gonna say denny hamlin...he always has a great car but seems to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
