    Forehand:

On clay and against one handed backhand - Nadal

On grass, hardcourt and any kind of player - Federer

    I'm going to chose Federer

    Backhand:

  8. This is for current active players on tour.  Otherwise the list would be longer.

    Men:

    a) FEDERER, gonzalez, blake

    b) DJOKOVIC, gasquet, federer, gaudio

    c) KARLOVIC, roddick, almagro

    d) NADAL, ferrer, djokovic, federer

    Overall/most complete:  FEDERER

Sampras and Agassi are the best for the previous period.

    Women:

    a) IVANOVIC, dementieva, pierce

    b) JANKOVIC, dementieva, suarez navarro

    c) IVANOVIC, kuznetsova

    d) DEMENTIEVA, ivanovic, jankovic, sugiyama

I would have put Graf as a, d and overall for the previous period. She's the best ever. Her forehand is the best ever and the biggest shot.  Henin for b, d and overall if she didn't retire. She still is the best and the best for this era.

  12. That is a good question. Many people constantly are arguing about this simple question.

These are the best shots in my opinion:

Forehand: Roger Federer; because he can hit clean winners off of it at such clutch times.

Backhand: Novak Djokovic; because it is so powerful, and he can hit winners with it from pretty much any position.

Serve: Andy Roddick; no doubt because he can pretty much hit an ace whenever he feels like it, and his second serve kicks so much it is impossible to return.

Court Speed: Rafael Nadal; because he gets to so many balls, no drop shot is safe from him, and he just makes you hit so many extra shots that you wouldn't have to hit if you were playing anyone else.

So, those are the best shots in my opinion. I hope this helped you out, and answered your question.
