Diamondbacks hands down.  Webb, Haren and Randy Johnson are the best 1-2-3 in the game.  Cubs are solid with Zambrano, Dempster, Harden, Lilly but in a close series..D-Backs get the edge.

The Diamondbacks have the best staff in baseball.  They have the second least BB (328) in the MLB, the sixth least home runs allowed (107), and the fourth most strikeouts (899).  These are the only categories that the pitcher has complete control over, stats like ERA and WHIP are dependent on the defense as well as the pitching, but K's, BB, and HR allowed are solely dependent on the skill of the pitchers.  No team is doing better in those three categories combined than the D-Backs.
