Nadal has some WICKED topspin, speed and unreal consistency. Federer's forehand is more explosive, exquisite placement and very powerful. Which do you think is the better forehand overall though?

  1. Simple. Depends on the surface.

  2. Federer has had the better forehand for a while, which in part, brought him his success. However, Nadal has added more pop, spin, power to his strokes, and comes in even more wicked than before. At same time though, It appears most times that David Ferrer hits that forehand even harder and faster. Might just be me, but certainly seems like he does.

  3. Federer. When he is in position to deliver, his shots are just unreturnable. One can get to Rafa's but returning it with power is difficult because of the spin. On hardcourts, Rafa's forehands fall short often and sit up and so aggressive opponents just pummel it for winners.  Roger's serve is also better than Nadal's. Rafa's backhand, fitness and point-to-point focus are better than Roger's. Though Rafa is also physically stronger, it doesn't make a difference in tennis very much as the technique is more important than how hard you hit it.

  4. federer has the better forehand. He can explode it on the court and make amazing winners from every corner. Nadal's forehand is more defenseive, he uses it to get the ball back in play.

I mean u got to admit fed's forehand is amazing: look here http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fl3oYg07Ttg&f...

  5. overall....has to be Federer...even in backhand...those r killer....

  6. Hands down its Federer of course!!!!  His serve really lets him set up his forehand down the line shot.  We call it the 1-2  punch play.  Federer has the best forehand of all time!!!!

  7. I think their forehand cancels out. They both have the greatest forehands in today's game.

  8. I think Federer does, and not because hes number one, because his forehand is always so consistent and so accurate and strong that his forehands are like bullets bouncing off the corners of the court. Nadal is also very unique in his forehand with his undeniable amount of spin and strength put in each shot. But i would favor Federer.

  9. looking at that wimbledon's final,

We could see that Nadal is attacking federer's backhand. Clearly, Nadal is really afraid of Roger's forehand.
