Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Fernando Gonzalez and Andy Roddick? I know Roger and Rafa is a level above Fernando and Andy but I am just talking forehand only here.

  1. Roger

  2. Roger Federer. Nadal's forehand works best on clay, while Roger works really good on almost everywhere.

  3. How can you put Andy Roddick in there? That's a joke right? The only thing you can include him for is his serve which I say is the best in the business.

For forehand, I'd probably go with Federer with Djokovic a close second and then you have gonzalez. Sorry, Rafa's forehand is effective only on clay. The top spin (he almost never flattens out his forehands) makes it a liability on hardcourts (which is why he suffers such heavy losses at times)

  4. i would say at the moment, heaven forbid it looks like rafa , simply on the basis that rafa is so consistent on that forehand but in terms of technique and power and effectiveness it has to be federer, he has so much success on that forehand and variation.

  5. Gotta be Roger. He can do whatever he wants with it, offensively or defensively. And he takes it so early and moves it around.

  6. Rafa's... is not readable and certanily a monster forehand.. i think Federe has the best back had ever...

  7. I still say Federer and Nadal win here. Roddick hits hard but doesn't mix it up that much. Most of what he hits has a safe margin for error and is usually pretty predictable.

Gonzalez has probably the biggest forehand in the history of the game, but it's so inconsistent. When it's on, it's good but when it's not, the results can be pretty ugly.

Nadal has the most consistent forehand and hits with incredible top-spin.

Federer's is pretty effortless. Not as reliable as Rafa's, but no one has his variety.

Again, it's got to be between Federer and Nadal. Hard to narrow it down from there, though...

  8. I go with Rafa

  9. Roger Federer. Im not saying that b/c hes #1, he just has an extremely well places, heavily spined, and very powerful forehand.

  10. nadal

  11. I love Rafa's forehand. He has so much topspin and it lands in no matter what. Roger has an awesome powerful shot that is a putaway shot.

  12. I wouldn't put Gonzalez in there either. He has a powerful forehand, but really what has it done for him. The effectiveness of a shot is measured in how easily it helps you win points. That's why Sampras was a better server than Roddick.

Anyway, Federer has the best forehand (overall). Nadal is great, but more effective on clay.

  13. uhhhhhh its rafa by a land slide

  14. ive gotta say federrer

  15. fernando has a very powerful forehand, with a hella lot of pace. federer has spin, pace, consistency, accuracy when he wants, rafa has a lot of spin, with pace when he adds it, accuracy and consistency are phenomenal. andy just has a powerful forehand with a little spin and consistency. so i would say that in terms of power it woud be fernando gonzalez. in terms of spin it would be nadal. in terms of consistency and accuracy and warying the forhand it would be roger.

i think rogy has the best forehand, because he isnt bugged my any of these guys forehands and he can do anything with his forehand
