  1. Sky sports, in my opinion it should remain with channel 4.

  2. It will be the last season of sky's current contract.Average viewing figures so far for a test match day is 300,000 people

  3. Most likely chanel NINE in Australia, it usually is.

  4. It is Sky but I'm happy with that. They offer the most money and most for the game. They are the only broadcaster who seem to care about county cricket!

The BBC didnt even make an offer, and C4 only kicked up a fuss about losing test match rights once they saw the viewing figures, before that they were happy for it to just go.

  5. sky sports has the broadcasting rights to show live coverage of the next ashes series

  6. In ind. ESPN-STAR SPORTS.

  7. Sky Sports.  They have  exclusive rights for live Test cricket for home England matches until the end of the 2009 season.

Their current contract the 2009 Ashes series.

  8. In the UK:

It's Sky and it'll be shown on Sky Sports 1. The graveyard of sports TV coverage. Seriously, during the last Ashes series under a million people watched compared with about 8 million who watched when it was on terrestrial TV (Channel 4) during the 2005 win.

On radio it's TMS  who have the rights and it'll be on 5Live Sports Extra and BBC4 long wave. You need a digital radio to pick up both properly though.

In Australia I think it's on channel 9.

The ECB, in the next few months, are going to be renegotiating who they let show live cricket but it's looking like nothing is going to change and things will remain where they are. Unfortunately.
