  1. It is not easy to answer your question in one words, you would better find it out here yourself.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  2. You need a trusted adviser to help you through the process of purchasing health insurance so that you understand what you are purchasing. Some may suggest going on line to get a quote but you probably already know that there is much more to health insurance than price.

Ultimately, you are the one who determines the affordability of your health insurance plan by deciding how much you will participate in sharing the cost of your health care with your insurance company.

If you choose a plan that covers everything i.e. doctors office visits, prescription drugs, preventative health benefits, maternity coverage as well as low deductibles and low copays your monthly premiums will be significant.

On the other hand you are young and I presume healthy and I will be that you rarely use the health care system. If that is the case you could consider a plan that covers only the major health catastrophe which will result in a relatively low monthly premium. You then can use the monthly premium savings to pay for the occasional doctor visit and still come out ahead.

Check with the agent that writes your home or auto insurance he/she can provide you a health insurance proposal that takes into account your budget and health situation.

Use the Internet to educate yourself but use an agent to purchase the coverage.

  3. I hear ya man, i'm broke as well, I can stay on my parents health insurance til i'm 26, but i got booted last year, because i took a semester off of school. now i'm hoping to be re-instated this fall??? A nurse at the doctor, told me its almost cheaper not to have health insurance, if your in relative good health, just don't get to into any major accidents. thats what really freaks me out. But i like most other people in this country can't afford insurance! hopefully will get national healthcare coverage in the next year or 2??

  4. You have to take into account your copays and whatnot. While it might be cheaper a month to get Brand X, overall cost effectiveness could be with Brand Z.

  5. Dude, know what you are getting when you pay that price.  Company A could be $67/mo and have a $1000 in out of pocket expenses and company B could be $47/mo but have $15,000 in out of pocket expenses.  Now which is the better deal??

Health insurance is very complex and has many variables, make sure you're getting the plan you want to have when something happens, not just the best plan to have when your bill is due.

Otherwise you might as well not have insurance.
