Who has the hamburger phone?

i just got my juno cheeseburger phone...what does pulse and tone mean? and flash and pause mean? is there anyway to make the ring lower because its so high pitched that it hurts my ears?

"Pulse" and "tone" refer to how the phone dials.  Use "tone".  That is the "touch-tone" tones method.

"Flash" is the button used to temporarily hang up and then immediately get dial tone back.  It "flashes" the line, which is the same as hanging up for a 1/2 second or more.  Some "flash" buttons remain hung up as long as they are depressed.  Some are timed and will last only the length of the timing feature.

There should be a ringer adjustment switch on the base of the phone.  It is usually a slide-switch that is "high", "low", and "off".  Move it to "low".
